I gave this stock pitch on Masimo as part of my application for the Applied Investment Management course here at Kenan-Flagler, where students make investment decisions for a $2m+ portfolio.

The presentation is based on my original report, just in a slightly different format, although I made some modifications to the multiples & valuation method to reflect the FDA approval of the Pronto-7 device (which relieves some of the uncertainty around future growth).
The company reports FY results tomorrow, and I’m eager to hear management’s comments on the outlook for 2012.

Is it just me, or is there no report/presentation in either of the two MASI posts?

I uploaded both MASI posts in Scribd.com format instead of the traditional HTML blog post. From feedback I’ve received, people aren’t a big fan of Scribd (it doesn’t work on smart phones for example), but it seems to be working correctly for me.
I’ll try to upload the documents via Google Doc and include the link in the post for anyone who can’t see it correctly now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
